We will challenge the company in its requirements to the system, when we know that a better or more standardized solution is possible. It is often difficult for the employees of a company to imagine processes running differently to the way they do today. However, we know Best Practices and we have seen many ways to handle the same process. For this reason, we can challenge and support within a change process by illustrating – with examples – other options, with their various benefits, drawbacks and consequences.

We will confront the company with the fact that changes to SAP standard solutions can prove expensive for subsequent development and/or upgrades. If a company chooses a specialized solution in an integrated system – blindly, and with no eye to the future – it may mean that the company will find itself cut off from using other parts of the system in the future, or that starting to use such parts will prove extremely expensive.

We will oblige the company to focus on versatile and efficient support of the key core processes, and argue against theoretical drawing-board solutions that simply cannot work in practice.

We will fight against “consultant-friendly” solutions that fail to create added value at the company.

We will fight to enable the company’s employees to become sufficiently qualified to understand, operate and support the processes, such that they do not need to call on consultants to assist them with their future use of the system.

We will base our consultancy on professional arguments, without regard to the issue of whether other solutions will create additional turnover for us, or for others.
