Companies often choose to implement the key areas of SAP ERP and BI during the first phase. Subsequently – when users have become fully familiar with these parts of the system – they wish to bring other areas online.

Implementation of new areas may, for example, involve the Project Management System (PS), Cash Management (CM), Production (PM), or Maintenance (PM). Adding new areas involves not only implementing extra functionality in the new applications, but also adding to and/or adjusting the existing setup of the applications that are already productive.
