SAP is a deeply integrated system.

Most managers are fully familiar with the problems associated with encouraging the various professional departments within a company to communicate closely with one another. On implementing an integrated system, it is even more crucial that the professional departments at a company talk to each other, and that the consultants who are specialists in the various modules of the integrated systems talk to each other as well. Unfortunately, in most cases they do not.

Solution architects are consultants that make sure this happens. They have extensive knowledge of all the areas affected, and are therefore in a position to ensure that in those areas where it is necessary to focus on communication between the various specialists – from the side of the business and from that of the consultants – this actually happens. Briefly put, the task of the solution architects is to ensure that both the processes and the system are fully integrated.

Vision Management employs two types of SAP consultants:

-      Cross-solution architects

-      Functional solution architects

Cross-solution architects

Cross-solution architects are consultants with extensive knowledge of at least two main areas (finance, logistics or BI), as well as broad insight into all other areas of SAP ERP and BI. At the same time, cross-solution architects have experience in a wide variety of sectors, as well as more than ten years of experience with SAP.

Functional solution architects

Functional solution architects are consultants with extensive knowledge of finance, logistics or BI, as well as broad insight into all other areas of SAP ERP and BI. In addition, functional solution architects have experience from the business side of their own area of specialization (e.g. accounts and budgets or purchasing), as well as at least seven years of experience with SAP.
