SAP Business Suite

A rose by any other name …

A great many designations have been used for SAP products over the years: SAP R/3, Enjoy SAP, SAP Enterprise, MySAP.com, SAP BW, SAP ERP2004, SAP APO and so on.

The official designation is now “SAP Business Suite”, which covers a range of components (programs) which, together, provide support for company processes.

The primary components are:

• SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• SAP Business Intelligence (BI)
• SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
• SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• SAP Service and Asset Management (SAM)

SAP Netweaver Technology supports integration between the various components.
